Description
Copper gaskets are used to connect two flanges together and create a vacuum seal with the use of bolts.
Oxygen free high conductivity (OFHC) copper is a suitable sealing material for bakeable UHV systems because of its good conformity with the thermal expansion coefficient of stainless steel as well as its essentially lower hardness (approx. 85 Brinell).
They are supplied in sealed plastic bags.
The Copper gaskets are manufactured to the standard and are compatible with other supplier’s product.
